Norton Rally - April 2017 🏍️

Classic British motorcycles, American motorcycle enthusiasts, and the site of George Washington's legendary Christmas Day attack on the British army... these were the ironic ingredients for an annual Norton motorcycle display in 2017. πŸοΈπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

The Delaware Valley Norton Riders held its annual Gathering of the Nortons show on April 23, 2017, on a picture-perfect spring day. 🌸 Enthusiasts of all makes and models flooded Washington Crossing Park in rural PA to see what the Nortons had to say.

As expected, the classic British cafe Nortons came out en masse! Each displayed their pristine pampering by their respective owners, who roamed the park like it was any other day. For the onlookers, it was anything but a typical day.

Outside the "protected" perimeter of Nortons, an assortment of rare machinery lined the facility. From a Knucklehead Harley Davidson to a 1947 Simplex Servi-Cycle, local aficionados graced the audience with their prized machines. 🏍️✨

Even the food was served in style. Using an old trolley and rowboat, the food vendor supplied delicacies with an element of flair not normally expected. πŸ”πŸš‹
