NV - Day 11

Today was all about Nevada and the Loneliest Road in America (US 50). Despite its very straight roadways, Nevada keeps an adventurer entertained with its magnificent landscapes, snow-covered mountains, and big blue skies. πŸŒ„πŸ”οΈ The mild, dry air of the desert meant no precipitation, making for a perfect ride. 🏜️

Passing through the mountains (I crossed over six!) provides a rider with a grin that will last for weeks. The epic and concluding ascent connects Carson City, NV, to Lake Tahoe. It started at about 4,000 feet, reached about 7,000 feet, and had continuous twists... all within a 30-mile span. πŸžοΈπŸ›£οΈ It's in moments like this that I remember and greatly appreciate the motorcycle training I had over the years. πŸοΈπŸ’¨

The day ended in Lake Tahoe, CA. My room overlooked the lake, and I found a hammock to decompress from the day. πŸŒ…πŸ›οΈ

While I made it to the last US state on this segment of my journey, I'm not declaring victory until I get a picture of my bike in front of the Pacific Ocean. That will need to wait until tomorrow… πŸŒŠπŸ“Έ

Cheers to new adventures! 🏍️✨
