Muir Woods and Mount Tamalpais π²ποΈβ¨
Just north of the hectic city life of San Francisco reside two sanctuaries for peace, quiet, and self-reflection: Muir Woods and Mount Tamalpais. ππΏ
Renowned for its towering, 1,000-plus-year-old redwoods, Muir Woods is one of the most amazing places I have ever been. Walking through this park, I was both silenced and nearly in tears by its natural splendor. I canβt explain it, but Muir Woods is simply magical. π²π³π«
Mount Tamalpais adjoins Muir Woods to the north. At the top of this mountain are some of the best viewpoints of the Pacific Ocean, rolling fog, and the skyline of San Francisco. ππποΈ
Iβll let the pictures speak for themselves because I canβt find the right words to explain these places. πΈβ¨
