Wet Stuff Falling from the Sky 🌧️

This morning, I woke up to an unfamiliar sound—rain. 🌧️ It was the first time in about six weeks that I had seen anything falling from the sky. My last encounters with precipitation were a sleet episode in eastern Utah and a bit of drizzle in Seattle. ❄️☔️

Curious about the weather, I checked the MyRadar app to figure out the best time to leave the hotel and head over to Karen’s house. 📱 With only a 120-mile ride ahead of me and a clearing between two bands of rainstorms, I decided to set off at 9:30 am. This timing turned out to be perfect. ⏰ I encountered very little rain at the start of my journey and none for the rest of the way. 🌦️ The afternoon was washed out with thunderstorms and heavy rain, so I felt grateful for my dry ride. ☀️

Because of the weather and the shorter ride, I didn’t take many pictures today. 📸

Exploring Milwaukee 🏙️🌊

Karen and I spent the afternoon exploring downtown Milwaukee. 🏙️ It was my first time visiting the city, and we started with lunch at a local spot known for its tasty assortment of beers. 🍻 We then drove through various neighborhoods, along the shores of Lake Michigan, and past the Harley-Davidson Museum (which I plan to visit another time soon). 🏍️🏞️

A Cozy Evening 🛋️✨

The evening was quiet and cozy. We chatted about family, friends, and the BMW Riders Association, catching up like old friends do. 🗣️💕 It was the perfect end to a refreshing day.
